Hobbyist artists without a Squarespace account who wants to sell their artwork online can hire me to design a website strategy and start their Squarespace website (and get them 20% off on new plans!). Or create a starter brand (logo, color palette, and fonts).

A VIP Day is laser-focused on usually one or two things. A beautiful website with impactful design takes longer than a day!

The only time you’ll need to have Squarespace is if you want me to be—hands-on—on your website.

If you would like to consult me on web design without being on Squarespace, you can do so. I just won’t be able to tell you how to execute it on your platform.

The VIP Day hours are from 8:30 am-3:30 pm Eastern. For folks in different time zones, this may mean you’ll need to pour yourself an extra-strong cuppa joe that day.

Here’s a sample day (each VIP Day. indifferent):

8:30 am • I begin work and the design process

12 pm • Quick Zoom video conference call for feedback.

12:30 pm • More work time for me.

3:30 pm • At the end of our day, we’ll meet for a wrap-up call or you can choose to get a wrap-up video with suggested next steps.

It depends on what you’re hiring me for; the details below give you an idea of what prep work you can expect. All materials and access I need to begin work are due three days BEFORE your VIP Day.

And don’t worry, I’ll hook you up with a shared Google Drive and a checklist to ensure you know what to do and when to have it by.

To write copy, I’ll need you to fill out a questionnaire. If you’re selling a service, I’ll also need testimonials. You’ll need to have those handy or be ready to ask for them!

I’ll need answers to a questionnaire and a Pinterest board with your inspiration for the starter brand.

For website strategy or social media templates, you’ll need to fill out a questionnaire.

For me to design anything on your Squarespace website you’ll need to be on 7.1 and I’ll need to be added as an administrator.

For web design, I may ask you to send me high-quality photos for your site and your branding files.

Of course, you can always book multiple VIP design days if needed to achieve your goals.

The VIP Day is a bite-sized portion of what you’d get in Website in a Week or The Liberated Artist Blueprint but tailored explicitly to your immediate needs. It’s like an espresso shot of brand strategy, marketing, or copywriting, giving you a quick yet effective boost.

Don’t fret; tech hurdles are a common pain point, and that’s why VIP Day is designed to be as simple as possible. There's no prerequisite tech wizardry needed.

Your valuable time is exactly why VIP Day exists. In just one day, I’ll tackle what would usually take weeks or even months to accomplish. It’s like a time warp for your business, allowing you to focus more on what you love—creating art.

Most of your heavy lifting will happen getting ready before the VIP Day. But it truly depends on the scope of the project. We may also decide to have a Zoom call as the day wraps up.

During our discovery call, I’ll suggest the areas where I can make the most impact and therefore more badda-bang for your buck.

Absolutely! Once you book, we’ll meet for one hour to plan the big day, map out any action items, and set the priorities for the day.

Through a deep dive questionnaire tailored to your business, we can be ready to go before our kick off call, and I’ll help you understand the entire process.

This will ensure you get my undivided attention to get the most out of any design work and your design wishlist - all done in a day!

I accept various payment methods for your convenience, including major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), and bank transfers. Please note that a surcharge is applied to credit card payments, which is not greater than my cost of acceptance.

By default, a $1000 initial deposit is required to book your VIP Day, with the rest due the day before the VIP Day begins.

However, I offer flexible payment plans to accommodate your budgeting needs. You can choose to pay in monthly installments over a specified period so long as the total is paid in full the day before your VIP Day. If you opt for a payment plan using a credit card, please be aware that a surcharge will be applied to cover bank and processing fees. This surcharge is not greater than my cost of acceptance.

A non-refundable $1000 booking fee is required to book your VIP Day.

If your plans change, you may rebook up to 4 days before your DAY without additional fees.

You must book your DAY within two months of your originally booked date.

Example: Sally booked her VIP Day for March 14. Her plans have change,d and she needs to rebook. If she rebooks on or before March 10th, she can do so without being charged an additional fee.

Sally will need to rebook her day to happen on or before May 14th or risk losing her non-refundable booking fee.

If you need to rebook less than 4 days before your day, a $125 rebooking fee will be charged. You must use book your day within two months of your originally booked date.

Example: If Sally rebooks after March 10th, she can do so but will be charged a $125 rebooking fee.

Sally will need to rebook her vip Day to happen on or before May 14th or risk losing her non-refundable booking fee.

The remainder of the fee is due the day before your VIP Day. Happy to work out a payment plan (without charging you extra for it) if needed, though.

By booking A VIP Day, you’re paying for my time and expertise, and not an end result. I’ll do my absolute best to manage expectations. I don’t issue refunds but I’ll absolutely allow clients to reschedule if a force majeure event (such as acts of God, war, nature, power or connectivity issues, as well as issues with my design software or Squarespace, health, etc) prevents me from working during the VIP Day.
